The Youth Wildlife Guardians are a group of students aged 8-17 years old, who are passionate about preserving nature and animals that has been in rapid decline. They are ready to work on the EET to launch campaigns and activities aimed at exchanging knowledge, raising awareness concerning on global climate change, food sustainability, and ocean waste management, and build a network of Thai youths in local communities across 9 provinces.

Activity-based games were also included to enhance understanding of the current situation in the area concerning global climate change, marine debris, and sustainable food.

On the 8th of June, which is World Oceans Day as set by the United Nations, the representatives from Youth Wildlife Guardians, teachers and, students of Ban Na Khai School joined together to collect marine debris at Hua Thanon Community Beach, Koh Samui, Surat Thani Province. 80 friends from Ban Na Khai School and staffs from Amari Koh Samui Hotel and OZO Chaweng Samui Hotel, hotels part of ONYX Hospitality Group, were invited to participate to on beach garbage collection activity.
